The first old cannon base remains on the same area as Tomogashima Lighthouse. It is a battery at the west end of Tomogashima Island, and it is classified as a high place old cannon which has an advantage against enemy ship. Nowadays, the erosion and collapse of the tree trees severely makes it impossible to enter some areas, but there are armored observatories on both left and right wing.
